2ND ANNUAL PUEBLO DAY, JUNE 24, 2017

07/03/2017

More than 300 visitors browsed the display tables in the Barracks courtyard where artifacts from the Indian, Mission and rancho periods were on display and interpreted by staff and docents in period dress. In the spirit of the occasion traditional pazole soup was served with hardtack (soup was delicious, hardtack - not so much). At the close of the Barracks event people ambled over to the plaza for the dedication of the statue honoring Mariano Vallejo, the founder of the Sonoma Pueblo.
