To further the preservation, interpretive, and educational functions of the Sonoma and Petaluma Adobe State Historic Parks.
Promote Sonoma and Petaluma Adobe State Historic Parks in our community, at local and state governments, and with the general public. Greater awareness of our resources and contributions will increase community support, SPParks membership, parks volunteers and visitors.
Create experiences within our parks that build understanding and appreciation of our cultural heritage. Educate the public in our history, with particular attention to informing school children in the history of Native-Americans before, during and after the Mission period. Provide resources for a strong docent program.
Fund and steward projects in our parks to preserve and enhance cultural and historical resources. Provide for immediate maintenance and identify and raise funds for major long term restoration projects.
