The Barracks Gift Store has reopened and lots of visitors have been purchasing books, T-shirts and other merchandise. Sales are near pre-pandemic levels but our sales staff is not.

Volunteers are needed to assist customers with merchandise selection and purchase. If you can come in for a morning or afternoon on a regular basis we can use your help. It’s an opportunity to help our parks and to enhance visitors’ Sonoma experience.

Store sales support SPParks programs such as Victorian Crafts Day and Christmas at the Mission. They also fund major park improvements such as restoration of the Petaluma Adobe structure and rebuilding the Mission courtyard fountain. Serving as a store volunteer assures that these programs will continue to receive vital financial support from SPParks.
