On Saturday, April 29, 2023, Sonoma State Historic Park hosted our first Children’s Day event since the pandemic. On a glorious spring day, over 400 people visited the Sonoma Barracks Courtyard to enjoy our crafts tables, petting zoo, pony rides, historic cooking demonstration, docent tours, and a civil war encampment.

This free event wouldn’t be possible without our amazing volunteers, staff, and cooperating association (SPParks). The feedback from the public was overwhelmingly positive, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
