Lecture - Life and Death at Mission San Francisco Solano09/19/2019 7:00pm
Hear Breck Parkman, retired State Parks archaeologist, speak about indigenous life during Sonoma’s mission era (1823-1834) and how local native peoples were brought to the mission for conversion to Christianity. Affected were members of various tribes – Coast Miwok, Southern Pomo, Wappo, and Patwin. The lecture takes place in the Sonoma Mission Chapel. $10 general admission, $5 for SPParks members, docents and staff are free. This event is part of the ongoing lecture series sponsored by SPParks (SonomaPetalumaParks).
