A beautiful day, an enthusiastic turnout of children, parents and grandparents, and a variety of hands-on activities for the kids made this a very successful park event. Some attendees had been at a previous Children’s Day, it is a perennial favorite. Thanks to the park staff and volunteers who planned the event and manned the various craft tables.
