Mother Nature held back the rain just long enough to provide a beautiful, sunny fall day for the 33rd annual Victorian Christmas Crafts Workshop on Sunday, November 10th at Lachryma Montis (the General Vallejo Home). Sonoma Petaluma Parks, Inc. (SPParks), in conjunction with Sonoma State Historic Park, hosted Sonoma children, parents and grandparents in creating ornaments and gift crafts at more than fifteen craft tables. Santa once again paid a visit and everyone enjoyed complimentary cookies and beverages. Thank you to all the docents and volunteers, including Park Staff, who help make this such a wonderful event each year. The Victorian Christmas Crafts Workshop is held annually in memory of Kay Archibald who created the event, and it is always a great way to share our Park with the community.
