“I just want to extend my heartfelt thanks for inviting me to speak at your event last night and share The Story of Us. It was such a genuine pleasure to be there, not only to present but to connect with such an engaged, thoughtful, and welcoming group of people.
The evening felt like more than just a lecture. In many ways it was a kind of homecoming for me. Being back in the community, surrounded by the environment and faces that shaped my earliest love for the natural world, reminded me why I started on this path in the first place. I felt a deep sense of belonging, and that is something I truly cherish.
All of your warmth, enthusiasm, and curiosity made the experience all the more meaningful. I left feeling energized and grateful, not only for the chance to share my work, but for the conversations, laughter, and shared passion.
Thank you for making me feel so at home. I am already looking forward to the next time our paths cross.
