Victorian Crafts Workshop Brings Joy to Sonoma – Again!

Thank you once again to the hard working “elves” for volunteering at this very special event – one Sonoma Petaluma Parks, Inc. (SPParks) conducts as a gift to our community rather than a fundraiser. The pre-Holiday workshop, held at Lachryma Montis (the General Vallejo Home) on Sunday, November 9, 2025, welcomed Sonoma children in creating ornaments and gift crafts. It was our 34th year and it was a VERY successful day.  We received more in ticket donations and refreshment table donations than any year since 2014.  After expenses the event landed in the black!

The weather was perfect (if a little warm).  We sold out of several crafts before closing.  None of it could have been done without the setup and tear down crews, the craft table volunteers and creators, the ticket sellers and refreshment table volunteers, and the Park Staff who made sure we had trash cans and power for hot cocoa and cider urns.  We hope to see you next year!

Thank you, from Yvonne Bowers, VCCW coordinator
